Landscape Motifs
Layered pattern, bright suns, and abstract terrain in porcelain and stoneware.
Austin, Texas
Tigermilk Ceramics is the studio practice of Angela Newman, creating handmade porcelain and stoneware pieces with joyful surfaces, functional forms, and a painterly sense of pattern.
Functional works of art, shaped by handbuilding, wheel throwing, Mishima, sgraffito, engobes, and a love of pattern that lands somewhere between modern design, folk art, landscape, and daydream.
Collections
Bowls, cups, coasters, sculptural forms, and small-batch objects made to be used, noticed, and kept close.

Functional coasters built for your table, with a little moment of surprise in every piece.

Useful pieces with bold glaze movement, speckled clay, and tactile edges.
Decorated ceramic surfaces inspired by landscapes, music, collage, and family imagination.
Limited groups of related pieces, made slowly and released as they are ready.
About
Tigermilk Ceramics grew from a lifelong pull toward clay: high school ceramics classes, years of practice, and the steady honing of handbuilding and wheel throwing techniques.
Angela draws inspiration from her daughters, live music, Austin landscapes, expressionist art, ancient tribal and folk patterns, and collage.
Commissions
Commission inquiries are welcome for functional pieces, small-batch sets, decorative work, and corporate or hospitality projects. Each piece is handmade, so timelines depend on scope, drying, firing, and glaze testing.
Start an InquiryIf something catches your eye, email to ask what is available. Angela can confirm pricing, dimensions, shipping or local pickup, and the best payment option.
